White coat ceremonies set for fall

White coat and professionalism ceremonies have been set for the fall semester. Below is a list of participating colleges. Due to COVID-19, some will be postponed, held virtually or held in large auditoriums with those in attendance wearing masks and observing social distancing.

College of Pharmacy

Friday, Aug. 21 at 3 p.m.
Truhlsen Events Center (for new students only)
Livestreamed for family, friends, faculty and staff.

College of Allied Health Professions

Virtual ceremony dates, times, and length of ceremony will vary by program.

College of Medicine — postponed until a later date

College of Dentistry – postponed until a later date

College of Nursing — Virtual ceremony dates, times will vary by program and Division.

Graduate College

Aug. 18 at 5:30 in Durham Research Center.
The event will be live-streamed.

College of Public Health — No ceremony
