University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska Medical Center Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., released the following statement following University of Nebraska System President Ted Carter’s presentation today at the NU Board of Regents.
“At the University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska Medical Center, we are excited to engage in the five-year strategic plan introduced today by President Carter. This plan – with a bias toward action, a focus on students and an ability to be nimble as we face new challenges – provides us with a clear vision moving forward. We look forward to work with the Regents, President Carter and our fellow universities within the University of Nebraska System, to accomplish the initiatives outlined within this plan.
