The Department of Information Technology-Academic Technologies is offering the UNMC community a professional development program called IMPACT (Instruction, Methodology, Pedagogy, Academic, Curriculum and Technology).
The IMPACT Professional Development Program offers the UNMC community opportunities to expand upon technical skills in support of institutional learning. While education is currently experiencing unprecedented challenges, Academic Technologies provides both the experience necessary and the necessary skills to navigate these unpredictable and complicated times.
Each session is associated to a track focusing on either instruction, methodology, pedagogy, academic, curriculum or technology.
Sessions will be offered in three formats:
- Synchronous – Web conference
- Hybrid – Web conference and online instruction utilizing Canvas
- Asynchronous – Self-paced Canvas-module(s)
