The College of Medicine has named the search committee for the associate dean of diversity, equity and inclusion position.
Dean Bradley Britigan, MD, said the new position will pave the way for the many changes and new initiatives needed for the college to become a more active and effective participant in the drive to achieve racial and social justice, with goals that include developing improved approaches for admission and selection processes for medical students, residents/fellows, staff and faculty that support and welcome diversity in our college.
Emily McElroy, dean of the McGoogan Library for Health Sciences, and Jasmine Marcelin, MD, assistant professor, infectious disease, will co-chair the committee. Other members include:
