The Olson Center for Women’s Health is celebrating national Women’s Health Week from Sunday, May 10 to Saturday, May 16. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the center’s participation in the event.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the usual Women’s Health Week plans, including a health fair and other group wellness activities. Instead, the center is providing a series of online offerings, including educational emails covering topics such as sun and skin health, exercise and joyful movement, yoga and meditation, and a digital health fair. One email will be sent each day from Monday to Friday. To receive these emails, contact Noelle Blood.
The center also will host a Women’s Health Week photo contest to promote wellness activities in the community. Send in a photo of yourself engaging in a healthful behavior (exercising, cooking, etc.) for a chance to win a wellness prize package.
The center is taking entries from May 10-16. A winner will be announced the week of May 17.
Visit the Olson Center Women’s Health Week page for entry information and official rules.
