Library seeks input on planned cafe

The McGoogan Library of Medicine is seeking respondents for an anonymous survey about a new campus cafe that will figure prominently in the fourth floor Wittson Hall renovation.

The new space will feature a variety of seating options and exhibits, as a part of the Wigton Heritage Center, that are related to the history of UNMC and the health sciences in Nebraska. These exhibits will feature materials and collections from the McGoogan Library’s special collections.

Serving as a link between the newly renovated library and the expansive glass atrium in the Wigton Heritage Center, the cafe will feature a variety of beverage and food items for purchase.

The library would like to hear how members of the UNMC community will use this space for study, colleague connections, or relaxation. Participating in this brief survey will better inform the project planners of beverage and food preferences.

The survey is anonymous and does not track information other than what is submitted. The aggregated results will be made available to applicable planning groups. The survey will close at the end of the day on May 4.

Take the survey.

Contact Heather Brown hlbrown@unmc.edu with any questions or technical issues with the survey.
