The Campus Wellness Team, collaborating with members of the UNMC College of Nursing and Nebraska Medicine, invite medical center employees to “tell us how you are doing” by completing this brief survey.
Voluntary responses to this less-than-eight-minute survey will help the wellness team understand the impact of COVID-19 on hospital and university employees’ well-being and target services to best meet their needs.
“Stress and burnout in health care workers has been on all of our minds for the last few years,” said Robin Lally, Ph.D., UNMC College of Nursing. “Now, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, health care workers are under new and unprecedented levels of stress and distress.”
“It is apparent that novel strategies need to be employed to help health care workers at Nebraska Medicine and UNMC manage their stress,” said Steven Wengel, M.D., assistant vice chancellor for campus wellness. “We want to get the right resources, to the right staff, at the right time to support psychosocial coping with the COVID-19 experience.”
Survey participation and submission is consent to use of the anonymous responses. Responses will not be traced back to respondents, and respondents will not receive a reply or care referral. (See counseling resources for Nebraska Medicine employees and UNMC employees.)
