Environmental Services offers cleaning stations

Environmental Services is providing UNMC departments and offices with cleaning chemicals and supplies in order to clean the work space and any frequently touched surfaces that colleagues feel need extra care.

See the list of buildings and locations at right.

Colleagues are encouraged to use the supplies as often as desired and to return them to the designated location when finished.

The cleaner provided is a multipurpose disinfectant that is certified by the EPA to kill COVID-19.

To use:

• Wet blue towel with a generous amount of solution and wipe surface thoroughly. Surface must remain wet for a minimum of 10-minute to reach proper dwell time.
• Let surface air dry
• Place soiled blue towel in designated bin to be picked up for cleaning.
• Repeat when needed
• The solution must be replaced every 24 hours due to shelf life.
• A member of the Environmental Services staff will make rounds daily to replenish supplies.
