UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., will hold a virtual all-campus forum at 1 p.m. today.
Dr. Gold will be speaking from the holographic theater in the Dr. Edwin G. & Dorothy Balbach Davis Global Center. Members of the UNMC community are invited to watch the event via Zoom.
Dr. Gold will discuss issues of interest to the campus community, including the steps the University of Nebraska, UNMC and UNO are taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Joining Chancellor Gold for this forum will be representatives from across both campuses in the areas of academic affairs, student success, and business and finance, as well Chris Kratochvil, M.D., associate vice chancellor for clinical research at UNMC and executive director of clinical research at the Global Center for Health Security, who has been on the front lines of helping the nation — and world — combat COVID-19.
In addition to Drs. Kratochvil and Gold, panelists will include:
- Dele Davies, M.D., UNMC senior vice chancellor for academic affairs;
- Sacha Kopp, Ph.D., UNO senior vice chancellor for academic affairs;
- Dan Shipp, Ed.D., UNO and UNMC vice chancellor for student success; and
