Webinar shows how to put class online quickly

A live webinar from Echo360, discussing how faculty can quickly pivot to online learning using the platform, will be held at 11 a.m. CDT Friday.

During the webinar, Echo360 experts will explain:

  • How to publish an existing video into a new course;
  • How to take an existing video and use our new editor to edit and create learning objects;
  • How to use Universal Capture to create instructional videos on your desktop;
  • How to use Echo360 engagement tools to improve learning; and
  • How to use analytics to enhance online learning.

The course description reads:

“With Echo360, you can easily transition to teaching online by repurposing existing videos, creating new videos, interacting with students, and monitoring engagement. Students can also study as they would in class, by taking notes, asking and responding to questions, answering polls, and indicating their confusion when reviewing videos. We recognize that these approaches may be new to many faculty staff, so this webinar will demonstrate simple steps to help get you started.”

The IT Department-Academic Technologies says the webinar may prove very helpful to UNMC faculty.
