The 2019-20 Music as Medicine series will continue on March 19 with a performance by Christie Beard, flutist with the Omaha Chamber Music Society, from noon-1 p.m. Due to construction, the location has been changed for the March performance, which will take place in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Lobby.
This performance will be sponsored by the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions with support from the UNMC Department of Human Resources. The Music as Medicine series is sponsored by the UNMC Office of the Chancellor with support from the UNMC Department of Human Resources.
The season will continue monthly, with scheduled acts including:
- April 30: Adams & Cooley Rat Pack Jazz
- May 21: Omaha Chamber Music Society – Cass Quartet
All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring your lunch and let music be your medicine.
