The 2019-20 Music as Medicine series will continue on Feb. 20 with a performance by Camille Metoyer Moten from noon-1 p.m. Due to construction, the location has been changed for February’s performance, which will take place in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Lobby.
This performance will be sponsored by the UNMC College of Nursing with support from the UNMC Department of Human Resources. The Music as Medicine series is sponsored by the UNMC Office of the Chancellor with support from the UNMC Department of Human Resources.
The season will continue monthly, with scheduled acts including:
- March 19: Omaha Chamber Music Society — Christie Beard
- April 16: Adams & Cooley Rat Pack Jazz
- May 21: Omaha Chamber Music Society – Cass Quartet
All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring your lunch and let music be your medicine.
