Volunteers needed for state high school competition

In March, approximately 700 high school students from across Nebraska will converge on the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine campus in Omaha for the yearly Health Occupation Student Alliance (HOSA) state competition and leadership conference.

Conference organizers are looking for innovative ideas as the med center prepares to host the conference March 22 through 24.

An important part of the experience involves students participating in more than 40 breakout sessions designed to expose students to opportunities in health care and provide hands-on experience. To facilitate a breakout session or to suggest an idea, complete this form and a member of the conference planning team will respond.

Watch for an article in UNMC Today detailing how to volunteer to judge in one of more than 50 competitive events at the conference.
