Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I am a videographer with the public relations department. This means I get the opportunity to hear many amazing stories about the wonderful things UNMC is doing. I am fortunate enough to be able to take those stories and turn them into visually appealing moments that are bound to touch the lives and hearts of many.

“Excellence” is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed excellence in practice at UNMC.

In the one month I have been here, I have been floored by the passion everyone has for what they do. More specifically, the passion to train up and positively impact our youth. While covering the Invent-a-thon award ceremony, I saw how enthusiastic the UNMC leaders were about helping our future leaders and innovators succeed in the creation and presentation of their ingenious projects.

What is your favorite winter activity?

My favorite winter activity is sitting by a fireplace, eating pizza and watching movies with my kids.

• I am the oldest of 10 children.

• I camped one night in a barn located in the Outback of Australia.
