  • Immunotherapy-induced endocrine disorders;

  • Parathyroid disorders; and
  • Amiodarone-induced thyroid dysfunction.

How I fell in love with medicine: Looking back, my interest in medicine was sparked when I started reading about the thyroid gland after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism during high school. During my medical training, I realized that endocrinology was a natural career path as it complements my calm, perseverant and analytical temperament. It also provides me the opportunity to establish a rapport and long-term bond with my patients.
