Construction work has begun on areas of the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza.
Work began Monday and will continue approximately through Aug. 23.
Many different areas of the commons space will be affected. If a portion of a sidewalk or patio is closed, there will be signs directing pedestrians to an open pathway.
