A 50-year employee was among the people recognized at this year’s Service Awards Dinner, held in June.

The longtime employee was Daniel McQuade, of the information technology team, who started at UNMC in 1969.
UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., spoke to the honorees, congratulating them on their service anniversaries and thanking them for their efforts to advance UNMC’s mission.
The annual event recognizes retirees, service award recipients and Gold U honorees of the past year.
