UNMC to announce major research breakthrough

There will be a news conference announcing a significant research breakthrough at 10:30 a.m. today. Presenters at the news conference will include UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., and two leading UNMC scientists.

The research was a collaborative effort involving UNMC and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. It is featured in this week’s edition of Nature Communications, a leading science journal.

The news conference will be broadcast on UNMC’s Facebook page beginning at 10:30 a.m.
