The campus community is invited to today’s candidate forum for the director of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer.
The forum, which will run from noon to 1 p.m., in the Yanney Conference Room of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, will feature Jonathan Chernoff, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Chernoff currently serves as scientific director for the Institute of Cancer Research at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, as well as deputy director of the cancer center. Dr. Chernoff also holds the Stanley P. Reimann Chair in Oncology Research.
Following a brief presentation, titled “The promise and problems of targeted therapies in cancer,” Dr. Chernoff will take part in a question-and-answer session.
