Tell us about what you do here at UNMC.
I am a provider credential associate at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute. I submit provider applications, which contain information on the provider’s education, training, professional background, licensure, DEA certificate (if applicable); assist in auditing charges for health care services and review for accuracy; assist in scheduling, billing, authorizations and verification for MMI providers and patients; prepare and maintain reports of all credentialing activities; and support physician and other health care professionals in billing activities.

Teamwork is one of our ITEACH values: Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group at UNMC exhibit this value.
Between covering the front desk in the morning and backing up my coworkers, I believe in teamwork over personal ambition. Working together helps our department complete and meet our goals. I like to encourage unity because it gives our team peace and harmony. As a team member, I make an individual commitment to a group effort so that the MMI patient information office can be a great team for our families and MMI.

What is your favorite summer activity?
Visiting new places and swimming.

List three things people may not know about you.
