Construction of the Wigton Heritage Center and renovation of Wittson Hall began this week, resulting in the dock, tunnel and skywalk to University Tower closing until the winter of 2020.

The UNMC Department of Facilities Management and Planning’s construction blog provides up-to-date information, including a current construction schedule for the next four weeks. Subscribers to the blog will get email updates on the Wittson Hall and Wigton Heritage Center projects, as well as other campus construction projects.
The main entrance to Wittson Hall at 600 S. 42nd Street will remain open until summer of 2020.
