Members of the UNMC community are invited to enjoy the Joslyn Art Museum’s new exhibit, “The Art of Seating: 200 Years of American Design,” at a members-only preview event to be held May 31.
The exhibit is organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, in collaboration with the Thomas H. and Diane DeMell Jacobsen, Ph.D. Foundation and is toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, D.C.
UNMC students and employees are invited to a private lecture with Dr. DeMell Jacobsen, chairman of the Thomas H. and Diane DeMell Jacobsen Ph.D. Foundation, in Joslyn’s Witherspoon Concert Hall at 6 p.m. Following the lecture, guests can view the exhibition and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Those interested in attending should RSVP by Friday, May 24. Please call (402) 661-3850 or email and include your full name and number in party (members of the UNMC community are offered two free admissions, with a $10 charge for each additional guest).
