UNMC’s popular “Music as Medicine” series continues April 18 with Rat Pack Jazz, which features vocalist Johnny Adams, Ron Cooley on guitar, Andy Hall on upright bass, Dennis Strawn on saxophone, flute and clarinet, and Carlos Figueroa on drums and percussion. The group will be performing at the Durham Outpatient Center west atrium from noon to 1 p.m.
Patients, staff, students and family members are invited to bring lunch and “let music be your medicine.”
The performance is sponsored by UNMC’s College of Nursing, with support from UNMC’s Human Resources Department.
