The University of Nebraska’s budget hearing before the Legislature’s Appropriations Committee, originally scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on March 4, will now begin at 2:30 p.m. to allow the committee to discuss other bills first.

Members of the university community and public are welcome at the hearing, which will be held in Room 1524 of the State Capitol. President Hank Bounds, Board of Regents Chairman Tim Clare and others will be among those testifying in support of the university’s request for state funding over the next two years.

The hearing also will be streamed live online on NET here.
