Bone Marrow Donor Drive Feb. 1
Decreasing the Donor Deficit, an Office of Community Engagement Legacy Project, will host a Bone Marrow Donor Drive, on Feb. 1, in the University Tower cafeteria. The drive will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The goal of the drive is to increase the number of individuals enrolled in the National Marrow Donor Program and to further promote access to bone marrow donation. Joining the registry includes completing identification paperwork and swabbing the inside of the individual’s cheek for DNA compatibility. The materials are then directed to the National Marrow Donor Program to be assessed. Enrolling in the program is free of charge to the individual and confidential. To learn more, contact DDD here.
Congrats to Ally! Know you will make us proud as president of the NPA!
Congratulations Ally! I am very happy that your leadership improves our Nebraska and beyond.
