Five years plus two more for research – I have been here for 6.5 years.
What do you like the most about your training program:
The best part about our training program is the group of residents we have. Having great people around who support each other makes the day-to-day so much more rewarding.
What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future:
I think graduate medical education continues to change and evolve. It is up to our training programs to incorporate these changes and new ideas to provide adequate training for the changing medical landscape.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of:
I am most proud of my two children. Watching them change and grow has probably been the most challenging – but also most rewarding – experience of residency.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
I love cooking, especially my family’s Italian recipes.
I have run one marathon and will never do another!
I lived on both the East and West coasts before the age of three.
