A delegation from Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center recently visited the medical center, meeting with UNMC and Nebraska Medicine leadership, touring the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and learning about iEXCEL at the visualization hub.
Rick Haraldson, the Beatrice hospital’s CEO, said, “For us, it’s an opportunity to see what type of connections we can make.”
Haraldson said that as a critical access hospital, these connections are especially important. In a moment of crisis, it pays dividends to have such “touchpoints” already in place.
Haraldson also said Beatrice is excited to have recently become a part of the same electronic health record network with UNMC-Nebraska Medicine. Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center already is impressed, Haraldson said, but also looking forward to seeing this data used to its full potential, to better help patients.
