Tell us about what you do at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine.
I am a facilities planning senior analyst with the facilities planning department. My background is architectural studies with emphasis in interior design. I have the privilege to work with a great team on both UNMC and Nebraska Medicine projects. We design and oversee new construction/renovation projects, furniture and signage/wayfinding improvements throughout all campuses.

Healing is one of UNMC/Nebraska Medicine’s brand values. Tell us of a way you’ve seen healing at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine.
Being mindful to patients, visitors, students and staff is important in my role here at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine. Even though I do not work inside the patient environment, I have many opportunities to help promote healing with patients and visitors. Our team has been involved with the design/overseeing construction on the Brentwood, Chalco, Elkhorn and Fontenelle Primary Care Clinics. We are grateful to get the opportunity to design larger, brighter spaces while offering more convenience to the community and efficiency to staff. On an ongoing effort, we improve exterior and interior wayfinding signage throughout all of our campuses, which can help ease stress for patients and visitors.

What is your favorite winter activity?
Watching our beloved Kansas City Chiefs football team and spending time with my husband, Craig, and our two girls, Kayci and Morgan.

• I grew up in Blair, Neb.
• I love to hunt, especially turkey hunting, and am a passionate supporter of the Nebraska Wildlife Federation.
• I enjoy dancing and karaoke as if no one is watching.
