How long is your training program and how long have you been at UNMC:
Our program is four years, and I am in my second year of training.
What do you like the most about your training program:
Definitely the people! We have great mentors and teachers who constantly challenge, inspire and prepare us to pursue a successful career and personal life. The staff members are always there to help. We also have a group of residents who are absolutely fun to work with.
What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future:
With the growing complexity of the health care system, how to deliver a better and simpler workflow with the aid of modern technology and human resources to increase the efficiency and competency of radiology residents.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of:
1. I finished medical school in my second language. It was hard, especially biochemistry.
2. I was the president of the Student Union in Sichuan University of China with more than 40,000 undergrads.
3. I make people laugh and understand 90 percent of the jokes, especially after being explained to me.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
1. Our 2-year-old son, Bruce, is named after Bruce Lee, my husband’s martial arts hero.
2. As of today, I have seven followers on Twitter, and one of them is Chancellor Gold.
3. I love spicy food, and my spicy level is 7-10 by Salween Thai standards.
