Several presentations are available online to help you learn more about the 2019 employee benefits program.
The NUFlex enrollment period opens Oct. 29 and runs through Nov. 16.
The online session includes presentations from UMR Health, Ameritas and the University Benefits staff with a Q/A at the end. The sessions will be available for viewing through Nov. 16.
During the open enrollment period, benefits-eligible employees need to complete the following check list:
- View your current benefit selections and make any desired changes. (If no changes are made online, you will keep your current benefits plan.)
- Enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts. (If no changes are made online, you will not be enrolled in the FSAs.)
- Complete the Health Risk Assessment. (You must do this every year to receive the enhanced wellness and preventive services benefit for you and your covered dependents.)
- Designate your tobacco/nicotine status. (If you do not complete the designation, it will default to tobacco/nicotine use which will result in higher premiums for the voluntary life insurance coverages.)
To enroll, visit Firefly between Oct. 29 and Nov. 16 and select “Benefits Enrollment” on the Employee Self Service page. Employees can review their current benefits plans at any time by clicking “Benefits Participation” on the Employee Self Service page.
