NUFlex enrollment for 2019 will be open Monday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 16.
During this time, benefits-eligible employees will be able to make changes to their tobacco designation, enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and complete the Health Risk Assessment. Employees also will have the ability to review their current benefit choices and make changes for 2019.
To enroll, visit Firefly between Oct. 29 and Nov. 16 and select “Benefits Enrollment” on the Employee Self Service page. Employees can review their current benefits plans at any time by clicking “Benefits Participation” on the Employee Self Service page.

Enrollment checklist
- View your current benefit selections and make any desired changes. (If no changes are made online, you will keep your current benefits plan.)
- Enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts. (If no changes are made online, you will not be enrolled in the FSAs.)
- Complete the Health Risk Assessment. (You must do this every year to receive the enhanced wellness and preventive services benefit for you and your covered dependents.)
- Designate your tobacco/nicotine status. (If you do not complete the designation, it will default to tobacco/nicotine use which will result in higher premiums for the voluntary life insurance coverages.)
