David Berkheim, M.D., is a new faculty member at UNMC.

How I fell in love with cardiothoracic surgery:
I chose my field, as many do, thanks to the mentorship I found while in training. It was the guidance of those thoracic surgeons who put me on the path to pursue a career in cardiothoracic surgery.
