Several Blackstone District restaurants are offering discounts to the med center community.
All UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees and students may present their ID badge at Noli’s Pizzeria and Ansel’s Bagels & Pastrami to receive a 10 percent discount on all food purchases. Both restaurants also offer gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian items.
In addition, Ansel’s has a delicious bagel that is made with the signature Noli’s Pizzeria water. (It has the mineral constituency of New York water, which many cite as the reason why New York-area pizza and bagels are the best.) They can accommodate pre-orders of bagels for morning meetings or staff breakfasts at any time (even if it’s before they open to the public).
Noli’s is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 4-9pm.
Ansel’s is open Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
