Margaret Quinn Rosenzweig, Ph.D., professor and vice chair of research in the department of acute and tertiary care at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, will deliver the Sixth Annual Anna Marie Jensen Cramer Memorial Lecture in Women’s & Children’s Health & Family Nursing on Oct. 10.
A reception will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m., with a welcome and the lecture from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at the UNMC Center for Nursing Science, Room 3030, on the Omaha campus.
The lecture is aimed at advanced practice nurses, nurses and other interested health professionals. Global learning outcomes that will come out of the lecture include allowing attendees to:
- Identify at least two historical issues in racial treatment disparity among women with breast cancer.
- Name three major variables of interest in the explanatory model of racial treatment disparity.
- Select important variables for future inclusion in the explanatory model.
