The Great Plains IDeA-CTR network is holding its second Great Plains IDeA-CTR CTR Superstar Competition. Applications are being accepted through Sept. 24 for the Oct. 10 event, at which a grant of up to $20,000 for one year will be awarded to one of three finalists at the GP IDeA-CTR Annual Scientific Meeting.

The goal is to raise awareness of clinical and translational research (CTR) by promising scholars who are developing innovative tools and methods for medical research. The winning investigator/team will receive a pilot grant award to catalyze cutting-edge research that may translate to a sustainable product or a larger federal grant.
