University of Nebraska Medical Center Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., and UNMC College of Nursing Dean Juliann Sebastian, Ph.D., will be guests Monday, June 18, on a national television show focusing on rural America.
“Rural America Live” is an hourlong show that begins at 7 p.m. CDT on RFD-TV, a national digital cable and satellite television channel owned by Rural Media Group. Rural Media Group’s founder and CEO, Patrick Gottsch, lives in Elkhorn, Neb.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share the vision of UNMC and focus on our expertise in rural health care to a national audience,” Dr. Gold said. “We look forward to engaging in discussion and serving as a trusted resource to viewers of the program.”
"Rural America Live" — formerly titled "RFD-TV Live" — is the longest-running show produced by RFD-TV. The hourlong program gives viewers the chance to interact with each week's panel of experts in an interactive call-in format, allowing them to learn about matters of interest to rural America.
RFD-TV can be found on Cox Channel 275 (1275HD); DIRECTV Channel 345 and DISH Channel 231. To find RFD-TV in your area, visit http://www.rfdtv.com/link/649370/find-us-in-your-area.
