Members of the UNMC community are invited to enjoy Joslyn’s new exhibit, “Treasures of British Art, 1400-2000: The Berger Collection” at a members-only preview event to be held June 1.
UNMC students and employees are invited to a private lecture with Dana Cowen, Ph.D., associate curator of European art, in the Witherspoon Concert Hall at 6 p.m.
Following the lecture, guests can view the exhibition and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar from 6:30-8 p.m.
Those interested in attending should RSVP by May 25 by calling (402) 661-3850 or emailing reservations@joslyn.org. Include full name and number in party (members of the UNMC community are offered two free admissions, with a $10 charge for each additional guest). Also, state that you are an employee of UNMC when making the reservation.
You must present your employee badge at event check-in.
The event is offered through the Passport Partners program, which provides free museum admission for medical center employees, students, and their immediate family with a valid identification badge, while also offering lectures, workshops and other events on the medical center campus.
