For the third consecutive year, UNMC has been ranked as the No. 2 employer in Omaha with more than 100 employees in Omaha Magazine’s Best of Omaha Contest for 2018.
“This is recognition that says it all,” said UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D. “To be tabbed by random readers of the magazine as one of Omaha’s best employers demonstrates how highly UNMC is viewed in the community. To say the least, it is very reaffirming of the quality work environment we have.”

PayPal was ranked as the No. 1 employer with more than 100 employees, while Mutual of Omaha came in third behind UNMC.
Omaha Magazine publishes its “Best of Omaha” issue annually, drawing on votes from readers to select the top businesses, entertainment venues, services and other honorees in many categories.
This marks the 26th year for the Best of Omaha Contest and the 34th year that Omaha Magazine has been in existence.
