Join Srinivasa Chandra, M.D., UNMC Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, at the next Olson Center Brown Bag on Nov. 7 to learn about human papillomavirus (HPV) and its concerns in head and neck cancer.
Dr. Chandra will present “A Viral Story – HPV: Oral to Anal Cancers!” from noon to 1 p.m. in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States.
As a head and neck surgical oncologist and a microvascular reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Chandra will share his thoughts and answer any questions.

The lectures are free. However, if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
