Shyam Sundar Nandi, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow in the department of cellular and integrative physiology, is the 2017 recipient of the UNMC Postdoctoral Excellence in Research Award.
The award was presented at the annual UNMC Postdoctoral Seminar held Sept. 22.
The Postdoctoral Excellence in Research Award recognizes postdocs for their research accomplishments through an oral presentation. Dr. Nandi’s winning presentation took place during the event, and he was awarded a cash prize of $1,000. His mentor is Paras Kumar Mishra, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of cellular and integrative physiology.
This is the third year for the awards.
