Educators Contribute to AAIM textbook

The Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM) released the 12th edition of A Textbook for Internal Medicine Education Programs. Drs. Kelly Caverzagie and Chad Vokoun, both of the Division of General Internal Medicine, co-authored the chapter "Program Accreditation: Next Accreditation System (NAS)."  Rachel Bonnema, MD, Division of General Internal Medicine, along with Davoren A. Chick, MD, FACP, from the University of Michigan Medical School, co-authored the chapter "Developing a Curriculum."

According to AAIM’s web site, The Toolkit Series: A Textbook for Internal Medicine Education Programs is the key resource for tackling common problems encountered in the administration of internal medicine education programs by residency, fellowship, and clerkship directors; division chiefs; department chairs and chiefs; and the administrators of residency and fellowship programs. This new edition includes nine all-new chapters, as well as more than 35 updated, by expert faculty and staff in departments of internal medicine.
