New Sodexo regional district manager announced

Ray Lee will become the new regional district manager of Sodexo on Sept. 1.

Lee has been with Sodexo since 1990, when he was a student at the University of California, Davis. During that time, his career has taken him from California to Nebraska, back to California and back to Nebraska again.

He’s been working in Omaha since 2002 and during that time, supervised a number of services, including environmental services and food and nutrition.

“I am very excited about Ray’s appointment to Nebraska Medicine and UNMC,” said Chad Brough, chief experience officer. “He comes with a strong track record of developing his leadership teams and creating a culture that aligns extremely well with the Nebraska Medicine ITEACH values. Ray has worked in the hospitality services of health care and education institutions and has led a showcase account for Sodexo.”

Lee’s family includes wife, Marie, and two children, Caleb and Josephine. Lee will work with Paul Turner on a 30-day leadership transition plan. Turner has accepted a Sodexo leadership position with University Hospital in Las Vegas. Watch UNMC Today for details on a September reception to wish Turner well and thank him for his service.
