UNMC holds welcome barbecue for new students, campus community
Faculty, staff and students attended the #iamUNMC BBQ Wednesday at the Ruth and Bill Scott Student Plaza on the Omaha campus. Campus leaders were on hand to share in the fun, which included free food from local food trucks, giveaways, music and games. The event was hosted by the UNMC Student Senate, the Recruitment and Student Engagement Office, and the UNMC Department of Human Resources. It is sponsored in part by Metro Credit Union in collaboration with the UNMC Department of Public Relations, the Center for Healthy Living and the UNMC Bookstore. See a photo album of the event.

College of Allied Health Professions releases online annual report
The College of Allied Health Professions has released its annual report in an electronic format. In his message in the report, Dean Kyle Meyer, Ph.D., calls the report “more than a compilation of facts and figures,” but instead “information that follows real-life examples of how our faculty, staff, students, alumni and benefactors exemplified our organizational values.” View the annual report here.
