Crack the case at Durham Participants Night

UNMC students, employees, and their families are invited to an exclusive free adventure complete with secret agents, suspects, and science at this year’s Durham Participants Night.

When: Monday, July 31, from 5-8 p.m., as part of the Time Travelers program, a partnership between UNMC and the museum.

Where: Durham Museum, 801 S. 10th St., Omaha.

What: Become a secret agent for the evening! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to crack the case in the museum’s summer exhibition, “Top Secret: License to Spy,” and then hone your problem-solving skills as you complete a set of fun activities designed for the evening. The night includes a complimentary meal to sharpen your brain and give you energy for the task before you.

Dinner includes “Mission Impossible Mac and Cheese” with “Top Secret Toppings” (broccoli, bacon, chives, etc.) It will be served with a breadstick and either veggies and dip or watermelon. (A gluten-free option is available upon request prior to the event.)

Register: RSVP by July 24. Please indicate the number of people planning to attend and whether they are children or adults. Free admission is for employees, students, and their immediate families only, which includes two adults and dependent children (under 21) of the same household.

An employee or student identification badge must be presented for admittance.

I have heard that UNMC employees no longer receive "Free Admission" during regular Durham Museum hours.

UNMC employees still get free admission for their immediate family members during regular hours.
