How I fell in love with educational technology:
I’m a technology nerd with a love for learning, hence my passion for educational technology. As a classroom teacher, I wanted to make learning meaningful, fun and engaging, so I started integrating innovative teaching practices and tools into lessons. I had a very positive experience and was able to see firsthand the lasting impact this type of learning had on my students. This led me to pursue my master’s degree, which had an emphasis on educational technology.

I love sharing this passion with others and found my calling (so to say) in advancing teaching and learning in higher education through educational technology and innovation. I’m excited to join the UNMC Department of Anesthesiology and support its educational mission.
