Have you recognized an employee, co-worker or colleague today?
Why is it important for an organization to have a reward and recognition program and how does our online People are Everything recognition platform impact employee morale and engagement?
These questions and more will be answered on June 7 when the UNMC Department of Human Resources hosts a visit from representatives from C.A. Short, the company that developed the People are Everything online reward and recognition program that replaced the old Thank U program last year.
The People are Everything online recognition platform allows for peer to peer and management recognition and features options for ecards, redeemable points, service awards points, and Gold and Silver U nominations.
Come to a session to learn how other organizations are using the same platform to increase employee engagement and recognition and some tips on how UNMC can maximize its reward and recognition program.
Also on June 7, come learn more about plans to give the program a new name.
Starting Thursday and running through June 16, a contest will begin to rebrand the People are Everything platform to make it our own. Ideas can be submitted for a new name for the program (examples include BRAVO, IMPACT, HIGH 5). Points (and bragging rights) will be given to the individual whose name is selected for the program.
Come to a session and learn more about why we are changing the name and how you can actually be the one to select it. Two general sessions will be held on campus for all employees. A mid-morning presentation will be done at the monthly Department Administrative Roundtable (DART) meeting with campus administrators.
June 7 general campus sessions:
9-9:45 a.m., Sorrell Center, Room 2010
2-2:45 p.m., Durham Research Center I, Room 1004
