New Faculty

Ahmed Aboeata, MBBCh, assistant professor, Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, completed his medical degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.  He then completed a residency and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Creighton University.  Dr. Aboeata comes to UNMC after holding an assistant professorship at Creighton University. His professional interests are primarily in cardiac imaging. He will serve on the outpatient general cardiology clinic, the inpatient service and work in the echocardiography laboratory.   Dr. Aboeata started April 1.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
