Ana Laura Ortiz Morales, a clinical studies associate In Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (DEM), demonstrated exemplary teamwork with the DEM Clinical Research Group that is worthy of recognition, according to her nominators, Vonnetta Byington, Megan Severson and Lisa Kuechenmeister. Ana Laura absorbed a heavier workload with enthusiasm and professionalism during a co-worker’s extended absence. She was also recognized for her involvement in recruitment and subject visits for a study with a shortened time-line, which may result in additional funding.
