Omaha city council candidate Dwite Pedersen, a former state senator, recently toured the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and came away impressed with what he saw.
“I think it’s just a fascinating building,” he said. “Using technology to make people well is what this world should be all about.
“I like the way they made the construction people and everybody part of it,” he said. “They are all part of the healing.”
Pedersen is a former longtime state senator and a substance abuse counselor. He is running for Omaha city council District 6.
