Tell us about what you do here at UNMC.
As a patient registration clerk in the UNMC College of Dentistry, I do a little of everything when it comes to scheduling. I answer phones and register new and updated patients. I help cover all appointment scheduling areas. I do little odd jobs for my supervisor. I am willing to help anyone who needs it and just make sure that the first impression of the college is a good one.
Accountability is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group at UNMC exhibit this value.
Beside all of the charitable work we do here at the College of Dentistry, such as Dental Day, SHARING Clinic, etc., we try our best to make sure everyone is taken care of. Our students do a great job treating the patients, and it’s our job to make sure each visit is well managed to make sure the word-of-mouth reference is a good one to the next patient we treat.
What is your favorite winter activity?
Volleyball and kickball. My children are very active, so it’s nice when I have time to be active.
